Praise

Standing in awe before the majesty of creation is one way to praise the Creator.

 

My prayer response:

Creator, no words could begin to describe the way I feel standing with the pure force, beauty, and movement of these waterfalls. I’m sure You can sense how the experience leads me to gratitude, amazement, and praise.

 

 

Biblical touchstones:

• Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in the midst of the lampstands I saw one like the Son of Man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash across his chest. His head and his hair were white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire, his feet were like burnished bronze, refined as in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many waters. In his right hand he held seven stars, and from his mouth came a sharp, two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining with full force. Revelation 1:12-16
• The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. Psalm 29:3-4
• And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!”
  And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God,all you God’s servants, and all who fear God, small and great.” Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of mighty thunder peals, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Revelation 19:4-6
