What fun it must have been to think up things that would begin as a seed, grow, and reproduce, as well as offer shelter, food, and inspiration.
My prayer response:
For the grace to imagine creatively, I pray.

- God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed of every kind, and trees of every kind bearing fruit with the seed in it. And God saw that it was good. - Praise God…fruit trees and all cedars! Psalm 148:7,9
- Anyone who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, Proverbs 27:18

I sometimes wonder what God was thinking when He created the hippo and the giraffe. God has a sense of humour, something that is an integral part of being creative. My prayer daily is that He will be my inspiration in my writing.
