God Creating the Animals (Day 6 of Creation at Chartres)

What a delight to consider possibilities. How exciting to see them realized!

My prayer response:

Creator, may my mind be filled with joyful ideas. Amen!

Biblical touchstones:

  • God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind: cattle and creeping things and wild animals of the earth of every kind.” And it was so. God made the wild animals of the earth of every kind, and the cattle of every kind, and everything that creeps upon the ground of every kind. And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:24-25
  •  Praise God from the earth…wild animals and all cattle. creeping things… Psalm 148:7,10a

Invitation to prayer:

Position your hand, heart, and head as God’s.
