When I feel small and the way seems long, it helps to remember that I can move ahead with playfulness!

My prayer

Thank You for creating humanity with the ability to reframe any situation. Help me to embrace my inner child’s invitations.

Biblical touchstones

  • Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me. Psalm 23:4
  • …for we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7
  • Likewise all to whom God gives wealth and possessions and whom he enables to enjoy them, and to accept their lot and find enjoyment in their toil—this is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 5:19

Invitation to prayer

Where in your life does the way seem long? What does the child within suggest to make the journey more enjoyable? What prayers are emerging in  your heart, mind, body and imagination? Pray them now.
