Notre Dame de la Belle Verrière (2): Iconic Love

Icons, created in prayer, connect us with Transformative Love. Medieval images crafted from stained glass can do the same. Coming face to face with Our Beautiful Lady and her Son, I feel loved–and I feel love.

My Prayer:

Notre Dame de la Belle Verrière by Jill K H Geoffrion

Love, Thank You for using everything–including sand, ash and stones used to create colored glass–to reach out, inspire, and transform.

Scriptural Touchstone:

May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance. Jude 2

Invitation to Prayer:

Consciously open your heart. Take in the image of this stained glass window, letting it reach your inner being. What prayers are emerging in your mind, heart, body, and imagination? Pray them now.
