The Eyes of the Cherubim: The West Rose Window At Chartes (8)

As a child, I feared God’s ability to see everything I did. As an adult, I am grateful that God not only sees, but also knows everything.

My Prayer

One Who Sees Completely, Thank you for Your loving gaze, and for the loving gaze of those who love You.

Scriptural Touchstone:

The four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and inside. Day and night without ceasing they sing, “Holy, holy, holy, the Lord God the Almighty, who was and is and is to come.” Revelation 4:8 (NRSV)
