Placing stones, one after another, on the ground, has been the preferred method of labyrinth building in Sweden for centuries. Faith experience is constructed with a similar process. Prayer by prayer I create an unseen sacred space that supports my ability to connect with God.

My Prayer
For perseverance–to remain faithful to the spiritual practices that slowly create depth and breadth in my relationship to You–I pray.

Scriptural Touchstone:
For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…a time to gather stones together… Ecclesiastes 3:1, 5 (NRSV)

Invitation to Pray:
While imagining the prayer that you are longing to pray as part of a larger pattern, connect your heart, mind, body and spirit with God.
