Passage

The death of a friend always involves many passages—for the one who has died as well as for those who are left.

My prayer response:

God for whom death is but a passage, my heart grieves with many other hearts. May Your welcoming presence be Rocel’s comfort. And ours.

Biblical touchstones:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.  Psalm 23:4

Invitation to prayer:
What prayers are emerging from your heart, mind, and body? Pray them now. Let them lead you where you need to go.
