Pilgrimage (Mont Saint Michel-3): Outside and Inside

Pilgrimages are physical journeys that invite spiritual movement.  What I see outside is inspirational. What I find inside is even more powerful.

My prayer:

Wholeness, may I perceive both the internal and external reality of people, places, and myself.

Biblical Touchstone:

Then Jesus said to the Pharisee that had invited him to dine with him, “Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. You fools! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?” Luke 11:39-40 (NRSV)

Invitation to Prayer:

Visualize something you want to pray for. Now, imagine what it might look like if you viewed it from inside instead. What prayers are emerging in your mind, heart, body, and imagination? Pray them now.
