Every culture acknowledges that what we do matters. Taking time to consider on how I have acted in the past helps me to live with greater integrity and love.
My Prayer
May what I do be a testimony to who I am in Christ.
Scriptural Touchstone:
Let me be weighed in a just balance, and let God know my integrity! Job 31:6
War broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought back, but they were defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Revelation 12:7-9
When the archangel Michael contended with the devil and disputed about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a condemnation of slander against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” Jude 1:9 (NRSV)
Invitation to Pray:
Reflect on the past twenty-four hours. As you consider your actions, what prayers are emerging in your body, mind, heart, and imagination? Pray them now.
