Looking at the blue halo surrounding Mary’s head, I long to know God better. There is deep beauty in holiness.
My Prayer:
God, may Your light fill me and radiate out from me.
Scriptural Touchstone:
Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see God. Hebrews 12:14 (NRSV)
Invitation to Prayer:
Examine Mary’s halo. What do you notice? What feelings does looking at it bring into your body? What thoughts and questions does it inspire? What prayers are emerging in your mind, heart, body, and imagination? Pray them now.
